CropCare works to improve the performance of small-scale farmer supply chains. The inclusive Farm-to-Shelf model implemented by CropCare through an integrated supply chain helps SMEs source horticultural produce directly from smallholder farmers spread across the Kenyan rural landscape thus improving livelihoods and enabling sustainable linkages to urban markets through contracts or supply agreements. As part of the inclusive business model, CropCare provides access to finance, crop-specific inputs and support services to the small holder farmers resulting in increased productivity, loyalty and lower transaction costs.
